The Inno Sense Medium Port bits are made of elastic synthetic material and are slightly flexible (less flexible than Flexi Soft). This mouthpiece has a smooth port that decreases the pressure on the center of the horse’s tongue. The Kimblehook cheekpiece is a kind of pelham but has a milder effect and is ridden with one rein. The rider can decide the strength or leverage of the bit. The lower the rein, the stronger the leverage. This cheekpiece gives the rider more control over the horse than a standard cheekpiece.
Bits from the Inno Sense collection can be used for every horse and are particularly suitable for young horses and/or horses with a sensitive mouth. The synthetic material is FDA approved, which means the material does not contain plasticizers and is nontoxic to humans and animals. Inno Sense mouthpieces are significantly softer than metal mouthpieces, and must be correctly placed in a horse’s interdental space so teeth do not damage the mouthpiece. If a horse’s teeth damage the mouthpiece, it is not considered a manufacturing defect.
