Aria Tarras joined the Safe and Sound Saddle Fit team as an intern over the summer of 2022 and came back on as a saddle fitting and social media assistant in 2023 after finishing her bachelor’s degree. We are thrilled to have Aria on board as she continues her education toward becoming a certified saddle fitter.

Aria has been riding horses since she was 6 years old. She tried many different disciplines until she fell in love with three-day eventing! Entering the eventing world helped her discover everything that goes into keeping a horse healthy and show season ready, which in turn inspired her to learn more about saddle fitting and turn it into a career. She currently shows her 17 year old Arabian/Paint gelding Outlaw (when he’s not getting into trouble) in Area 4 and hopes to continue to gain experience and knowledge in both eventing and saddle fitting.

Outside of working with horses, Aria enjoys hiking, camping, and reading.
